Robyn Beyda has spent most of her adult life dedicated to Jewish education and causes. Her volunteer roles included PTA president and Sephardic Bikur Holim advocate. Professionally, Robyn worked at the Monmouth County, NJ JCC as Jewish Program Director where her prior experience led to success in public relations and special events. Robyn later moved to New York where she worked at Touro University in the executive operations office for six years. There she acquired skills in administration, budgeting, purchasing, human resources, fundraising, technology and emergency procedures that led her to the role of Executive Director at the Edmond J. Safra Synagogue In 2014. As Executive Director, she has focused on making the synagogue a safe and welcoming haven for all who attend. Her vision is to continually set the bar higher to meet the growing spiritual and social needs of our community. Robyn has a BA in Communication from Rutgers University. She is also an alumnus of Drisha Jewish Institute in New York. She lives on the UES and has four amazing children and 14 delightful grandchildren.
