When the temperature drops, our community has been there to help those most in need…
Our hearts sink a little more each time we walk past someone on the street desperately in need of help. That feeling of despair is even more palpable as temperatures drop. With Thanksgiving around the corner, we are turning our annual Giving the Gift of Warmth event into a Thanks Gifting Hesed Mission for the entire family. Join us Sunday, November 21st to pack and deliver winter care packages for the homeless of NYC. This is a project for the entire family, but most importantly an opportunity to teach our children the most selfless act of Hesed, one that can never be returned. An act of kindness they can physically accomplish with their own two hands, and not just by writing a check.
There will be something for everyone to do, so bring all the helping hands you can find!
Our goal is to pack 125 Winter Packages this year!
If you, or someone you know, produces or sells any of the below items, and/or can donate 125 pieces for our drive, please let us know!
